Recently we have been working with SMUG, an amazing company dedicated to improving sleep and wellbeing. SMUG has kindly donated products to our self-care packages that Mindset has been gifting to NHS key workers throughout the pandemic. It’s been an amazing success thanks to SMUG being a fantastic sponsor. We have quickly come to realise that we have much more in common, and there are lots of things we can do together for this wonderful cause.
SMUG has been donating beautiful sleep masks, earplugs and resistance bands for our self-care packs to help promote sleep and exercise for our keyworkers. You can have a look at their lovely products here. Sleep and exercise are vital for good mental health and physical health: it keeps our hormones in balance; helps our brain form memories; promotes our immune system and repairs the body from the effects of the previous day. The recommended daily sleep allowance for adults is 7 hours and we know it’s hard to get that, especially if you’re working nights. Because sleep and exercise are integral for good mental health and immunity, we have decided to collaborate and over the coming months, we’ll be working together with SMUG to provide a series of information designed to help improve mental health and wellbeing.
