Wellbeing audits

Conducting a wellbeing audit will help you get to know the current landscape of employee wellbeing at your organisation. Reviewing existing data and running a staff survey, we will identify what risk and protective factors influence wellbeing at work and identify key areas in need of improvement, developing a mental health strategy for your organisation with minimum disruption and maximum impact.

Policy development

Not all workplaces are the same, but mental ill-health does not discriminate. We can check that mental health is at the heart of your policies, ensuring legal compliance and establishing fair and supportive strategies to protect and prevent poor wellbeing.

Risk assessments

Employers have a legal duty of care to protect employees from poor wellbeing at work by doing a risk assessment and acting on it. Risk assessments for the business, team or an individual help consider work factors that could cause psychological harm and develop a plan to safely control the risks.

Risk Assessments and Return to Work Support

It can be a challenging problem for an employer or education provider to know how to respond reasonably when someone takes time off work with stress or other mental health problems. Supporting a person’s return to work/education and addressing any health needs can be tricky but with our support we can help you know how to appropriately handle any mental health needs with a risk assessment and return to work support. We are also able to help answer any questions on performance management, disciplinary issues or mental health legislation.

Policy development

All employers and education providers have a ‘duty of care’ to do all they reasonably can to support their employees’ health, safety and wellbeing. It is strongly recommended to put in place a mental health policy so that all management know what they are expected to do should they have any concerns about an employee or student. Get in touch if you’d like some support writing this so we can make sure all employers are ‘singing off the same hymn sheet’ when they are supporting the wellbeing needs of others.

Wellbeing audits and gap-analysis

In order to truly understand and address your needs, a wellbeing audit will help benchmark the organisation’s wellbeing, identify areas where people need more support and highlight any specific factors that may be influencing people’s mental health. Key areas in need of improvement and recommendations for how to boost mental health wellbeing in a cost- effective way will be provided and any further ongoing support.
